Kendrick Varela

Kendrick Varela is a bilingual (English and Spanish) filmmaker based in Southwest Atlanta, passionate about capturing stories with authenticity.

Kendrick completed the Film and Digital Media program from Clayton State University in 2019 and has since worked as Director of Photography on multiple projects, including Pretty Dead Things, an official selection in the Georgia Shorts Film Festival and Summer in the South.

Some of his most recent experience includes Camera Operator on the documentary series, Ark of Lilburn (2021), Director of Photography and Editor on the documentary film Manchester United (2024), and as Camera Operator for the Amazon Prime series Faceoff: Inside the NHL Season 2 (2025).

He also works as a freelance videographer and photographer for corporate events, family celebrations, and more. Outside of his work, you might find him powerlifting at the gym, sipping sparkling water, or exploring coffee shops with his wife.
